Story behind the Story

The idea of Daniel and the Sea Serpent came out of a story told to my children to pass the time while we traveled on a family vacation. My children enjoyed it so much that I decided to put the thoughts and words on paper. So my children were the motivation for the story and child to come is the motivation to publish the story. Our family has felt the LORD leading us to adopt a child internationally. You know how Jonathan feels about orphans (if you read the book you'll know).

The income earned from the sales of this series will be used to cover our adoption expenses. So Daniel and the Sea Serpent will not only originate as a result of my children, but a new child for our family will possibly originate from Daniel and the Sea Serpent. What an irony.
